RESOLUTIONS
a. ORDER 05-1-19-1H/In the Matter of Accepting a Bid and
Awarding Contract #05-S-0011.B for Vacate Cleaning of Resident Units at the
Following Sites: Cresview Villa, Riverview Terrace, Pengra Court, Maplewood
Meadows, Scattered Sites, and Abbie Lane Apartments.
Don Williams, HACSA, reported that all three of these board orders were
created from the same process. He noted
for their vacate cleaning, they had used outside contractors because it is hard
to predict how many vacates they are going to have. He said they use an aggregate formula where they predict from the
past what the future needs will be and that weighted formula is applied to the
price per unit that the contractors give them to get an aggregate average. He added there is no controversy for any of
the board orders and they had excellent bidders and have worked with them
before. He indicated they have the
funds to do this and are requesting approval.
MOTION: to move to approve ORDER 05-1-19-1H.

d. ORDER 05-1-19-4H/In the Matter of Extending Workers'

Larry Abel, HACSA, reported they recently learned that City County Insurance
(who has insured their workers comp coverage for 15 years) has workers comp
insurance available for Board members.
He added it is at a reasonable cost.
He noted it would be less than $20 in costs for the agency. He thought
it was important to cover the resident commissioners anytime they are doing
