Sorenson present. Bill Dwyer was
present via telephone. County
Administrator Bill Van Vactor, County Counsel Teresa Wilson and Recording
Secretary Melissa Zimmer were also present.
ADJUSTMENTS TO THE AGENDA
commented that Measure 50 is an effort to increase taxes on cigarettes in Oregon
so 100,000 uninsured are given the health care they need.
He called attention to the tobacco industry
running T.V. advertising that criticizes the measure.
He hoped the public will joint him in support for Measure 50 to do what
they can do to protect health care.
EXECUTIVE SESSION as per ORS 192.660
Van Vactor reported that at the AOC board meeting they discussed Oregon
150th birthday and putting together a celebration.
He indicated that there might be a grant for Lane County to work on the
HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES
a. DISCUSSION/Consideration of the Restructuring of the ORS 190
Intergovernmental Entity Responsible for the Delivery of Human Services in Lane
County and the Consolidation of Human Services Committees/Boards Under This New
