Mike McKenzie-Bahr, Economic Development, explained that this is a project they have been working on for three years. He indicated that it is the replacement of the water system, water pipeline and water tank for Blue River. He said they got permission from the state to hold this public hearing so they could wrap up the paperwork. He indicated that this order allows for final signatures for the project. He noted that there is still some construction work taking place and it will be completed by the end of the year when the project is officially closed.
McKenzie-Bahr reported that this project had met the state goals at the time the funds were applied for. He indicated that this is for water for 190 people.
