Commissioner Bill Fleenor presided with Commissioners Bill Dwyer, Rob Handy, Pete Sorenson, Judith Pothier and Faye Stewart present. Joe Inman was excused. County Counsel Liane Richardson and Recording Secretary Melissa Zimmer were also present.
ADJUSTMENTS TO THE AGENDA
Charles Biggs, Eugene, said that he hoped that HACSA took into consideration the most economical windows that are warranted. He hoped it was a good choice and that the upgrade was necessary.
3. COMMISSIONERS' RESPONSE TO PUBLIC COMMENTS AND/OR OTHER ISSUES AND REMONSTRANCE
Dwyer commented that these items go out for public bid and all specifications that are required as part of the bid process. He indicated that the windows are energy efficient.
Stewart reported that this facility is in Cottage Grove and it was built in the mid 60ís. He indicated that these windows are needed as they are more efficient than what was put in the 60ís.
Pothier stated that she has been to the apartments and the repairs are needed due to its age. She added that when they put out the bid, all considerations have been considered.
