2. REGULAR BUSINESS

a. REPORT/Review of Audit Reports and Project Based Accounting Report.

Referring to a February 19 memorandum included in the meeting agenda packet, HACSA Deputy Director Larry Abel reported that the audit report yielded no findings.

b. EVALUATION/Lane County Housing Authority Director.

The Commissioners reviewed the performance evaluation of Lane County Housing Authority Director Chris Todis.

Offering a self-evaluation of his performance, Mr. Todis reviewed his personal goals for the next year. He said that in order to operate effectively and efficiently, the Housing Authority should consider and pursue funding sources other than HUD and work closer with the Board in making future policy decisions. Additionally, Mr. Todis said he intends to become knowledgeable about and utilize computer systems.

The Commissioners complimented Mr. Todis on his performance. Dumdi encouraged Mr. Todis to make appointments with the Commissioners instead of just walking in, and Cornacchia noted the need for improved communication between HACSA and Lane County.

MOTION: To issue a performance rating of "exceptional" to the Lane County Housing Authority Director. Dumdi MOVED, Green SECONDED. VOTE: 5-0.

a. Approval of Minutes:
January 29, 1997, HACSA, 9:00 a.m.
February 2, 1997, HACSA, 9:00 a.m.

b. ORDER 97-2-19-1H/In the Matter of Accepting a Bid and Awarding Contract #97-C-0009 for the East 43rd Avenue Rehab Improvements.

MOTION: Approval of the Consent Calendar. Dumdi MOVED, Green SECONDED. VOTE: 5-0.

4. EXECUTIVE SESSION as per ORS 192.660

None.
