May 16, 2008 Lane County was among those honored at an environmental conference, earning a Special Recognition for Energy Innovation Award for the Lane County SeQuential Fuels Project. This is the first time the award has ever been given. Read More

April 17, 2007 LCC's Gaming and Simulation Program is a success! With a $50,000 grant from the Board of Commissioners, students can now pursue IT careers in entertainment, gaming, simulations for military, airline and aerospace industries, as well as science and medicine. Read More

Invitrogen/Molecular Probes expands its Eugene facilities with funding from Lane County Economic Development Agencies, the Regional Investment Board and the State of Oregon. This expansion and workforce development will create 65 jobs and invest $15 million into the Lane County economy.
