Animal Services Advisory Committee
| PURPOSE |
Advises the Health and Human Services Director and the Board of County Commissioners on matters of animal service operations, program improvements, model and state of the art animal welfare, care control programs, and facilities. |
| MEETS |
Monthly, 2nd Wednesday of each month. |
| MEMBERSHIP |
Five members are appointed by individual Commissioners and two at-large members are appointed by the Board of Commissioners as a whole. |

The Animal Services Advisory Committee is a Nonmandated Committee. Nonmandated Committees are an advisory body to the Board of Commissioners appointed and charged by the Board with advising on certain areas of County government. The existence of the committee is controlled by the Board, and the members serve at the pleasure of the Board. (Lane Manual 3.505)
