Personal Background:
Rob moved to Lane County as a teenager, loving the beauty of the area, the friendliness of the people and sense of community he experienced here. He has lived in Eugene his entire adult life. Rob is married to Julie Hulme, a first grade public school teacher. They live adjacent to the Willamette Greenway, gardening and stewarding the land they love, and have been active in the River Road community for more than 20 years. Rob attended Lane Community College and the University of Oregon. Prior to being elected to the Lane County Board of Commissioners, he owned and managed his own business, Handy Landscaping and Consulting and Contractor Service, from 1986 – 2008.
