Mission Statement
The mission of Lane County Health and Human Services is to promote and protect the health and well-being of individuals, families, and our community.
Lane County Behavioral Health Services supports the H&HS mission by acting on these guiding principles:
- Provide a responsive community safety net to our most vulnerable citizens.
- Provide access to high quality, culturally competent, integrated and coordinated behavioral health care services which reduce human pain and suffering and promotes recovery, resiliency and positive health outcomes.
- Ensures effective management and stewardship of limited public resources via community education and prevention, public/private partnership, accountability and transparency.

Information
Lane County Behavioral Health Services encompasses a broad array of services and programs. Services include treatment for children, families, and adults. Services can be accessed through a variety of programs focusing on Mental Health issues. Lane County Behavioral Health Services is a public mental health provider receiving funding from state mental health grants and client fees, some of which may be in the form of Medicaid, Medicare, and other insurance carriers’ reimbursements.
