Flu Shots for Adults and Children will be available by appointment at our Charnelton Street office starting September 10, 2012.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that all people 6 months of age and older should get influenza vaccination annually.
Vaccination is especially important for people at higher risk of severe influenza and their close contacts, including healthcare personnel and close contacts of children younger than 6 months.
High risk groups for complications from seasonal flu include anyone over the age of 50, especially those with health problems; residents of long-term care facilities; any person with certain chronic medical conditions; pregnant women; and babies & young children.
Flu and pneumonia shots will be available by appointment at Lane County Public Health beginning September 10, 2012. Please call (541) 682-4041 to schedule an appointment. Costs for the flu shot are as follows:

Seasonal flu shot: $30.00

Fluzone high-dose flu (for those 65 years and older): $46.00

Fluzone intradermal: $35.00

Pneumonia shot: $80.00
