RIS provides network support including consulting, planning, performance monitoring, capacity management, network/security administration, and problem diagnosis and resolution. RIS supports connections to local and external networks including connections between agencies, connections to remote agency sites, and connections to the Internet, the State of Oregon, and other organizations.
RIS offers clients full Internet, LAN/WAN, and Mainframe network access. Frame relay, direct LAN connection, and point-to-point WAN connections are available.
RIS supports connections to remote client networks via point-to-point or frame relay circuits using routers, DSU/CSUs, and other equipment as needed. RIS supports connectivity to client networks that use Ethernet topology.
Continuous support for RIS Network Services is available 7 days per week, 24 hours per day.
