RIS administers and supports regional security functions including authentication services, data confidentiality services, and protection of information technology resources.  RIS researches security products and technology resources.  RIS researches security products and technology, and advises RIS customers on proper implementation of security measures.  RIS also implements improvements to regional information technology security as needed.
