Do inmates attend treatment programs while at the CCC or ESP? 
Many times the court, parole and probation officers, DHS Children's Services, and Community Corrections Center staff require or encourage offenders residing at the Community Corrections Center to participate in and complete various programs. These programs are recommended based on the offender's charges, criminal history, behavior, substance abuse history, family situation and by offender input. Examples of these programs include:

 

  • Substance abuse treatment

  • Anger management treatment

  • Domestic violence prevention

  • Sex offender treatment

  • Mental health treatment

  • Employment assistance and training classes

  • Parenting classes

  • Victim's impact panels

  • Community service

  • GED classes

  • Diversion programs
