The education and prevention course covers the following:

  • Windows basics and how to find hidden files
  • Internet addressing
  • Newsgroups, Blogs, Myspace, Facebook etc…
  • E-mail issues
  • Computer hacking
  • Internet fraud
  • Protecting your privacy
  • Sex Crimes and "Sexting"
  • Internet Chat
  • Filtering and blocking unwanted sites with software
  • Searching the Internet for information on you and your family
  • Searching your computer to see what sites your child has been visiting
  • Internet safety summary
    Attendees must be over 18 years old to attend due to nature of the material.
