Parenting Education Class During Divorce

"Focus on Children"

A program for divorcing and separating parents. 

What is the purpose of the program? Family changes can be stressful for parents and children.  "Focus on Children" is a three and one-half hour, multi-media program designed to help parents focus on and respond well to children's needs during divorce or separation.  The program is conducted by qualified professionals employed by Lane County.

Topics include: Children's needs during divorce or separation, parents' rights and responsibilities, custody and parenting plans, when children are at risk, adjustment of children and parents to new family structure, and community resources.

What is the cost of the program? The cost of the class is $45.00 for each person who attends.
