Hours of Operation:  Monday through Friday,  8:00 am - 11:30 am, and 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Birth Certificates

Birth certificate requests can only be processed by Lane County Vital Records within SIX MONTHS of the birth. 

Fees are:

• $20 for first copy and $15.00 for each additional copy ordered at any one time and for the same person.
• Payment for walk-in orders may be paid with cash, a check or money order.  We also accept VISA and Mastercard payments.
• Payment for mail-in orders must be paid with a check or money order.

In your request please include:

• Your name and relationship to person on birth certificate
• Mailing address
• Full name of the person whose birth certficate you are ordering
• Date of birth of this person
• Full mother's maiden name of this person
• Full father's name of this person (if listed)
