In Lane County there is an organization that thinks about the changing face of today’s work place, the jobs that exist today, will exist tomorrow and about preparing the workforce to fill those jobs. And, an organization that talks to businesses to determine their workforce needs. That organization is the Lane Workforce Partnership. Our mission is to meet the workforce needs of employers and individuals through partnerships and innovation.
Under the leadership of the Lane Workforce Partnership board of directors, The Workforce Network was created to assist employers recruit and retain employees, and to help individuals learn new skills, find employment and progress in their careers. The Workforce Network , an alliance of workforce organizations, works with over 450 businesses and serves over 6,000 Lane County residents annually. With two locations in the Lane County area, services are easily accessible to employers looking for skilled employees, individuals searching for a job or seeking skill enhancement.
