Haven’t Received Your Ballot Yet?

Contact: Cheryl Betschart, Lane County Clerk, 541-682-4328

Lane County ballots were mailed on Friday, May 3, 2013. The majority of Lane County voters received their ballots Saturday, May 4 through Tuesday, May 7, 2013.

Voters who do not receive their ballot in the mail by Wednesday, May 8 should do one or more of the following:

  • Go to www.oregonvotes.gov to confirm you are registered.
  • If you have moved to any new address, even the apartment next door, you will need to update your registration by completing a registration card and submitting it to Lane County Elections. You may also update online at www.oregonvotes.gov if you have a valid DMV license, identification card or permit number. The same website may be used to update or remove a mailing address.

Ballots are not forwardable by law, so if you are not going to be at a regular residence or mailing address, you need to submit a request for an absentee ballot at the temporary location. If you are unsure what to do, call Lane County Elections at 541-682-4234 to determine what action you need to take to still receive a ballot.

Lane County Elections is located at 275 W. 10th Avenue, on the corner of 10th and Lincoln in downtown Eugene. Office hours are 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m., Monday through Friday. On Election Day, May 21, 2013 the office will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
