Starting January 7, 2013, an administrative fee of $70.00 will be applied to all manufactured structure transfers, exemptions, demolished homes, house moves, corrections or information updates, and lost title requests. The new fee will include the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services, Building Codes Division mandated fee of $55.00, plus the new Lane County administrative fee of $70.00. The total fee to transfer a title will now be $125.00.
The new administrative fee, adopted by the Board of Commissioners, is necessary to cover the administrative costs of operating the program. The Board also adopted a $55.00 per hour research fee if a title transfer needs additional research or special handling.
As a result of these changes, the titling program will be able to expand hours of service. Beginning January 7, 2013, the office hours for Manufactured Structure Titling program will be expanded to include Friday afternoons. Revised office hours are:
Mondays - 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Wednesdays - 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Fridays - 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
