Major Road Construction Report for Lane County

Major road construction for the week of May 25, 2008. Schedule is subject to change due to weather delays.
EUGENE
Coburg Road: Asphalt overlay construction from the intersection of McKenzie River Drive, northerly, to Vintage Way in Coburg. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers and pilot cars, as necessary.
County Farm Road: Asphalt overlay construction Dean Avenue, north and east, to Coburg Road. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers and pilot cars, as necessary.

West 18th Avenue from Bailey Hill Road to Brittany Street: Watch for construction equipment traffic, lane closures and lane shifts.There will be no work on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26.
Roosevelt Boulevard from Beltline to Chambers Street: Watch for construction equipment traffic, lane closures and lane shifts.There will be no work on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26.
27th Avenue from Amazon Parkway to Jefferson Street: Watch for construction equipment traffic, lane closures and lane shifts. On-street parking will be prohibited in areas. Work will include construction of concrete sidewalk access ramps.27th Avenue will be closed on both the east and west sides of the intersection with Willamette Street until Monday morning, May 26, to perform concrete pavement repairs.
Chad Drive from the East End of Chad to Coburg Road: Watch for construction equipment traffic, lane closures and lane shifts. Two-way traffic will be allowed at all times. Expect delays. Work will include top lift paving, and manhole and valve adjustments. There will be no work on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26.
Chambers Street from Railroad Boulevard to West Eighth Avenue: Watch for construction equipment traffic, lane closures and lane shifts. Two-way traffic will be allowed at all times. Work will include roto-milling of existing pavement, and top lift paving. Expect delays and use alternate routes if possible. There will be no work on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26.
Willamette Street at 27th Avenue: During concrete pavement repairs on 27th Avenue one lane in the each direction will be closed on Willamette St. from Thursday, May 22 until Monday morning, May 26.
East 13th Ave. from Franklin Boulevard to Agate Street:East 13th Avenue will be closed for paving from Franklin Boulevard to Agate Street Saturday, May 31. No parking on East 13 Avenue will be allowed during construction. Agate Street will remain open but will experience delays as construction equipment moves through the intersection, use alternate routes if possible. Watch for construction equipment traffic, lane closures and lane shifts.
COTTAGE GROVE
London Road: Bridge construction at milepost 13. Expect intermittent delays with a one lane detour around construction area. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers, as necessary.
