Sheriff’s Office Rides for Life

The Lane County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the American Cancer Society to sponsor a motorcycle ride in support of cancer research.

"This is the first year we have attempted something like this and we would very much like to make a real success out of it," said Deputy John Moore.

Registration begins at 9 a.m., Saturday June 21 in the N parking lot of Lane Community College with last bike out at 10 a.m. Coffee and donuts will be served.

The ride will start at Lane Community College parking lot N and finish at Richardson Park where there will be a BBQ and prize drawing.

Costs: $25 per rider and $10 per passenger. A $5 discount will be given for riders pre-registering. Checks should be made payable to the American Cancer Society. Those interested in pre-registering may mail forms in to:
