Remember the Future Paint Party this Saturday
Contact: Martin Rafferty, Children and Families youth advocacy coordinator, 606-1514
Come be a part of Eugene's largest coloring book activity!
Join the Lane County Children and Families’ Youth Action Board (YAB) and Eugene City Repair at Ken Kesey Plaza (the corner of Willamette Street and West Broadway) to help beautify urban spaces. Your help is needed in painting an artistic rendering of what Eugene might look like in a sustainable world.
"This event was inspired and ran by youth in order to get our city ready for the Olympic trials," said Martin Rafferty, youth advocacy coordinator for the Lane County Children and Families Youth Action Board.
Painting begins at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 21.
The event is open to all ages – no artistic skills needed to take part. There's music, light food, paint, and more. If you are interested in building a stronger community, please come down and have some fun!
For more information contact Martin Rafferty at 606-1514 or email martinrafferty@gmail.com
