Big Creek Road Closure

Road name: Big Creek Road, north of Florence

Location: Milepost 6.2 to milepost 8.9

Landmark: Three mile section of road west of Forest Service Road No. 5800.

Closed at: Road will be gated at both ends, no through traffic will be allowed.

Dates and times: Monday, July 7, 2008 to Sunday, September 21, 2008.

Alternate routes: East Bound use Highway 101 to Highway 126 to North Fork Siuslaw Road to Upper North Fork Road and reverse for west bound.

Reason for closure: Replacing cross culverts at milepost 6.2, milepost 6.8, and milepost 7.8.
