The partial power outage in Lane County’s Public Service Building (PSB) continues today. A replacement circuit breaker has arrived and installation will occur after hours tonight. Full power is anticipated to be restored by tomorrow morning.

The PSB will close at 5:30 p.m., this evening to allow for the installation. Power to the building will be shut off during the installation with the exception of Dispatch and RIS.

During the partial power outage, people with accessibility needs who need to access other floors may do so with ADA assist. To get ADA assist, contact the County Administration Office at 682-4203. An escort will be sent immediately to their location.

The power loss began Monday morning. Offices located on the Eighth Avenue side are currently impacted by the power loss. Offices located on Seventh Avenue side are powered in addition to work areas located in bottom level of the PSB and the Courthouse. Dispatch and RIS will continue to be powered and the HVAC system is running.

Community members continue to have access to services within the PSB but assistance may be slowed as the situation is resolved.
