Power Restored in the Public Service Building
Contact: Lane County Administrator Jeff Spartz, 682-4203
Power has been restored to all floors in the Public Service Building.
The PSB closed at 5:30 p.m., Thursday night to allow for the installation of a replacement circuit breaker. Power to the building was shut off during the installation, with the exception of Dispatch and RIS, and restored to all floors prior to 8 a.m. this morning.
The power loss began Monday morning, primarily impacting offices located on the Eighth Avenue side of the PSB. Offices located on Seventh Avenue were powered in addition to work areas located in bottom level of the PSB and the Courthouse. Dispatch and RIS remained operating throughout the partial power loss.
