LANE COUNTY STORMWATER MANAGEMENT
National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES)
In March 2003 Lane County submitted application for coverage under Phase 2 of the NPDES program administered by Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) for small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4's). While determined to complete, DEQ is re-evaluating its plan and schedule for issuing permits to Phase 2 communities. In the interim, Lane County is operating as if under an issued NPDES Phase 2 permit, the main focus being summarized by the Lane County Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP). The document is provided below for your use.
