Lane County Department of Public Works, Vegetation Division recently held a 60 day public comment period seeking public input on two questions regarding herbicide use for roadside vegetation management. The public comment period closed on March 10, 2008. All public comments received during that time have been posted on this page for public viewing. Lane County Department of Public Works received a total of 140 responses during the 60 day public comment period. Lane County wants to thank all of the groups and individuals that provided testimony on this important issue. All of the comments have been helpful and important in working to develop an Integrated RoadsideVegetation Management program that works to manage roadside vegetation in a healthy and effective manner for Lane County citizens. |
