PURPOSE
The purpose of the Lane County Sheriff's Office Diversity Committee is to foster respect and resourcefulness within our workforce. Individual differences and values are essential in building a stronger, safer and more productive work environment. The Sheriff's Office recognizes that a greater understanding and acceptance of cultural perspectives can only improve our service to the community and enrich the quality of our work experience.
GOALS

Facilitate the implementation of Lane County's Diversity Plan within the Sheriff's Office.

Participate in workforce diversity awareness and training.

Function as a resource for Lane County Sheriff's Office employees and administration.

Make recommendations to the Sheriff's Office Management Team pursuant to our mission.
