Sheriff's Commendation Process

Introduction

The Lane County Sheriff expects his employees to perform their duties to the best of their ability. A commendation can be written on behalf of those employees who you believe have gone beyond the normal scope of their duties. We also greatly appreciate hearing about our employees when they are meeting your expectations in providing the extensive range of services of the Sheriff's Office.

Procedure

Every citizen can make a commendation for any employee of the Sheriff's Office. Please include details that will allow us to ensure the correct employee receives your observations. The commendation may be submitted to the Sheriff:
