History: The Coyote Creek Bridge is often referred to as the Battle Creek Bridge because it is located on Battle Creek Road. Some still refer to it as Swing Long Bridge since it was called this many years ago.

Design elements in this bridge include housed buttresses, ribbon openings under the eves, and rectangular portals. Heavy snowfall severely damaged the bridge in 1969 as the weight of several feet of snow collapsed the roof. The rafters were sawed off and the bridge was left uncovered until County crews could repair it in the spring.
