World Guide Number: 37-20-04 Directions: Proceed west out of Eugene on Hwy. 126 about 24 miles to Siuslaw Rd. Follow Siuslaw Rd. about 200 feet to Austa Rd. Proceed under the overpass to Wildcat Bridge, which is located at mile point 0.8. |
History: Wildcat Covered Bridge crosses Wildcat Creek near its confluence with the Siuslaw River. The 75 foot long span includes a long narrow opening on the east side to provide a view of oncoming traffic.
The nearby Austa boat ramp provides access to the Siuslaw River for fishermen.
