Recycling at Disposal Sites

Lane County offers free recycling optrecyclers at transfer stationions at all disposal sites. This saves customers money because separating recyclables results in less garbage that costs money to dispose.  Recycling also reduces air and water pollution, energy use and physical destruction to our life support systems.

Tip:  Load your vehicle recycling last so you can do your recycling before you get to the fee booth.

Tip:  Don't forget to cover your load --it is against the law to litter roadways.

Please Note:
Rural sites collect some materials commingled, while the Glenwood site accepts all materials separated by type.

Please Note:  Not everything is recyclable, and wishful recycling hurts recycling. So, please refer to the instructions below and the visual poster links in the left hand side bar to learn what can and cannot go in the bin.
