Recycling 101 is an online, self-paced course created in partnership with the Association of Oregon Recyclers.
Students will engage with thought-provoking text and multimedia to learn how personal and business waste prevention choices so positively affect our planet’s natural resources as well as several other personal and business goals.
Lane County Master Recyclers take the course as the part of the 9-week volunteer training course. The course is free to those who volunteer 30 hours in the community around recycling and waste prevention.
Students that do not wish to volunteer or that have time constraints, can take the on-line course anytime 24/7 by registering and paying the online course fees (very reasonably priced)
Take only the one or two chapters that interest you ($20), or take the "Certificate Course" for all of them and a certificate of completion. ($75. or $50 each with five or more registrations-excellent for staff trainings or school coarse work)
