Current Status:

The Board of Commissioners approved Ordinance 14-08 on October 7, 2014; the language will be effective on November 6, 2014.

The Board closed the public hearing for Ordinance 14-09, but kept the record open for written testimony until October 31st at 4:00 pm. They also directed staff to remove items 20 & 21 from this ordinance and take them before the Planning Commission during the next round of code updates.

There will be a Fourth reading for deliberations and possible action for Ordinance 14-09 on November 12, 2014, at 1:30 pm (Harris Hall, 125 East 8th Avenue, Eugene).The supplemental packet will be available on November 5, 2014.



Written correspondence regarding the proposed amendments may be submitted to Lane County Land Management Division, 3050 North Delta Highway, Eugene, OR 97408.  Failure of an issue to be raised in a hearing or in person or in writing, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the Approval Authority who conducts the hearing an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals on that issue.  For additional information, please contact Lindsey Eichner, Associate Planner, at 541-682-3998.
