LEAF PICK-UP UPDATE -

NOTE: It is our intention to follow this schedule to the best of our ability.  Sometimes it may take longer or shorter than planned depending on many factors.  Please check back regularly.

Week of November 16, 2009

Springfield

Lane County Public Works crews will begin collecting leaves in the Springfield area the week of November 16. Public Works will begin in the Game Farm Road area, moving east to Hayden Bridge Road area, continuing southeast to the Jasper Road/42nd Street area, moving northwest to Centennial Boulevard/Aspen Road area and finally moving south to the South Second Street/Harbor Street area.

River Road/Santa Clara

Lane County Public Works has completed its first round of leaf pickup in the River Road/Santa Clara area. It is expected the second round will begin the week of November 30. It is best if all leaves can be prepared and placed during the weekend prior to November 30. Leaves piled longer than a week can get scattered and plug storm sewer systems.
