Lane County Election Results

A Special District Election will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.  Depending on where you live, ballots may include candidates representing special districts (school, fire, water, etc.), City of Eugene Ward 7, as well as measures filed by: Lane County, City of Eugene, Creswell School District #40, and Creswell Water Control District.

For this election, Lane County Elections produced a Voters’ Pamphlet and the Oregon Secretary of State’s office translated many of the materials from the Voters’ Pamphlet into JapaneseKorean, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Vietnamese

Here are the important dates for the May Special District Election:

New Voter Registration Deadline. The deadline to register to vote and participate in the May election, was April 25, 2023.

Current Voter Deadline to Update. You may update your voter registration through 8 p.m. Election Day and receive a ballot.

• A voters’ pamphlet was mailed to households the week of April 24th.  If you did not receive a voters' pamphlet and would like one delivered, please complete this webform and one will be mailed to you.

• Ballots were mailed to:
o Military and overseas voters on March 31, 2023;
o Out-of-state voters on April 17, 2023; and
o Local voters on April 27, 2023.

• Drop boxes opened on April 27, 2023.

• The last day our office will mail ballots to voters is May 11, 2023. After this date, ballots must be picked up in person at Lane County Elections.

• Election Day is Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

• Election results will be certified to the Secretary of State on June 12, 2023.
