Lane County partners with State to host virtual Holiday Farm Fire cleanup Q&A session
Posted on 12/07/2020

Holiday Farm Fire survivors are invited to participate in a virtual question and answer session regarding ash and debris cleanup of fire-affected properties on Wednesday, December 9, at 6:00 p.m.

Representatives from the Oregon Wildfire Recovery Debris Management Task Force will provide updates regarding the State’s plans for Step 2 of cleanup that includes ash and debris removal from private properties.

In the next several weeks property owners who have signed Right of Entry Forms for cleanup will be asked for more specific information on their properties. This information will help ensure a safe and efficient process. When cleanup is done, properties will be ready for rebuilding.

Lane County Waste Management representatives will also be available to answer questions about local debris disposal.

To participate, survivors should visit www.facebook.com/LaneCountyGovernment at 6:00 p.m. to view the live event. There is no log-in or special event link needed; the video will be shared directly on the Lane County Government Facebook page. Please feel free to send in your questions ahead of time to [email protected]. Questions can also be asked by typing comments on the live video post. A moderator will monitor the comments and relay the questions to the presenters.

Information about the State’s cleanup process is available at wildfire.oregon.gov/cleanup.
