The voter registration deadline for the May 21, 2019 Election is Tuesday, April 30, 2019.

People who are not registered to vote in any Oregon county may register online at oregonvotes.gov no later than 11:59 p.m., Tuesday, April 30. The online option is available only to those with a valid Oregon driver’s license, DMV-issued identification card or learner’s permit.

Other registration options:

  • Submit a voter registration form to the Elections Office by 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 30.
  • Mail a voter registration card to the Elections Office with a postmark no later than Tuesday, April 30.

New voters who will turn 18 on or before the May 21 Special Election Day may register by the April 30 deadline and receive a ballot, even if they are still 17 on the deadline date.

The Lincoln Street ballot drop box at Lane County Elections will be open now through Tuesday, April 30, at 5:00 p.m. to make it easier for voters to drop off completed registration cards.

“We are opening the drop box to accommodate Lane County citizens who may not be able to come to our office during regular business hours,” said Lane County Clerk Cheryl Betschart.
