Road construction update: July 13

Road construction is scheduled for the week of July 13, weather permitting. Use caution in work zones and obey traffic control signage and flaggers. For real-time traffic impacts, go to TripCheck.com.


Alvadore Area:

Clear Lake Road (M.P. 4.5 to 5.15 and 7.00 to 8.40)

Roadway upgrades and paving to occur.  Traffic to be controlled by traffic control devices and flaggers. Please follow the detour and traffic control signage. Additional trucking and construction traffic will be operating in the area, so drivers should slow down and abide by the signage and traffic control devices.

 

Clear Lake Road (MP 4.65 – 5.15): CLOSURE

Major road repairs will occur on July 13th, 2020 between 7:00am and 9:00pm.  Drivers should detour around the closure using Goodman Road and Snyder Road on this day.



Eugene Area:


Prairie Road from Beltline to Irving Road (M.P. 0 to 2.21)

Roadway, ADA ramp and storm system work to occur along Prairie Road from Maxwell Road to Enid Avenue. Traffic to be controlled by flaggers and traffic control devices. Please use caution and slow down through the work zones.  Drivers are advised to find alternative routes to avoid delays.


Cedar Flat Area:

Hendricks Bridge Wayside Road (M.P. 0.00 to 0.180)
Hendricks Bridge Wayside Road will be closed to accommodate the park closure. The park and boat ramp will be closed for the construction of a new boat ramp and parking lot upgrades from June 8, 2020 until September 30, 2020. Additional trucking and construction traffic will be operating in the area, so drivers should slow down and abide by the signage and traffic control devices.

Cottage Grove Area:

Row River Road (M.P. 0.74 and 11.0)

Pedestrian trail crossing improvements to occur at two locations along Row River Road.  Site 1 is near Layng Road (M.P. 0.74) and Site 2 is at M.P. 11.0.  Traffic to be controlled by flaggers and traffic control devices. Additional trucking and construction traffic will be operating in the area, so drivers should slow down and abide by the signage and traffic control devices.


Creswell Area:


Lynx Hollow Road (MP 3.83)

A single-lane bypass road will be available while a culvert is being replaced. Vehicles are expected to yield ahead to one-way traffic when using the bypass. Expect minimal delays.

 
 
Jasper-Lowell Area:

Pedestrian and ADA upgrades to occur at the intersections of West Boundary Road and Wetleau Drive, and East Main Street and Pioneer Street.  Traffic to be controlled by traffic control devices and flaggers.  Additional trucking and construction traffic will be operating in the area, so drivers should slow down and abide by the signage and traffic control devices.


Jasper Lowell Rd (MP 8.51 – Unity Covered Bridge):  
Painting will continue on Unity Covered Bridge. The bridge will be closed Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day starting July 6 and ending July 30. Drivers should detour around the closure using Reuben Leigh Road and Big Fall Creek Road.

Lorane Area:

Territorial Highway (MP 34.9 - 35.5)
Slide repair and roadway realignment work to occur along Territorial Highway near milepost 35. Traffic to be controlled by flaggers, traffic control devices, pilot cars and temporary signals. Temporary roadway surfacing will be available for travelling through the work zones. Additional trucking and construction traffic will be operating in the area, so drivers should slow down and abide by the signage, flaggers and traffic control devices.

Mapleton Area:

Sweet Creek Road Viaduct (M.P. 2.10 to 1.95)

Viaduct maintenance and upgrades to occur.  Traffic to be controlled by flaggers, traffic control devices, pilot cars and temporary signals as needed. Additional trucking and construction traffic will be operating in the area, so drivers should slow down and abide by the signage and traffic control devices.


Santa Clara/River Road Crackseal:

Various streets encompassed by River Road (east boundary), NW Expressway (west boundary), Beltline Highway (south boundary) and Irvington Drive (north boundary) will be receiving crackseal Monday through Thursday. Please plan for delays and abide by the “No Parking” signs that will be placed periodically in locations throughout the neighborhood. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers. Expect delays and seek alternate routes whenever possible.


Chipseal Program:

Blade patching, repair, fog seal or chipseal work will be performed Monday through Thursday, depending on weather and materials availability. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers. Expect 15 minute delays. Seek alternate routes whenever possible.

  • Stagecoach Road MP 9.70 – MP 11.49 (Beginning Pavement to Hwy 36)

  • West Fork Road MP 0.00 – MP 3.56 (Deadwood Cr Rd – End of County Maintenance)

  • Deadwood Creek Road  MP 0.00 – MP 7.49 (Hwy 36 to End of Pavement)

  • Rice Road MP 0.00 – MP 0.58 (RR Tracks to End of County Maintenance)

  • 1st Street & Cul-de-sac MP 0.00 – MP 0.15 (Entire Road)
