Composting class calendar

For beginning to experienced composters, workshops provided through OSU Extension Services will cover the basics of how composting works, which materials to use, and the different methods and types of compost bins available. Workshops are led by backyard composting information specialists.

It’s free. It’s easy. Year-round household hazardous waste disposal appointments are available weekly at the Glenwood Transfer Station. Hazardous Waste

Hazardous waste from businesses & organizations

Services are available by appointment for a minimal fee for conditionally exempt small quantity generators (CEGs), defined as businesses that generate less than 220 pounds of hazardous waste per month. For more information, visit lanecountyor.gov/hazwaste or call (541) 682-4120.
