Transfer Station Updates
Tuesday, 9/3/24 UPDATE
: All sites are operating on regular schedules this week pending any change in fire or air quality activity.
Note: In the interest of protecting the health and safety of our staff and our customersand in recognition of Oregon OSHA’s heat and smoke safety lawsit is Lane County's policy to close sites when the heat index reaches 105 degrees or when air quality index (AQI) exceeds 300.

Florence Transfer Station: Rhododendron Drive Realignment and Improvement Project

Transfer Site Advisory

Sharps Creek transfer site is currently scheduled to open on regular hours on Saturday, July 27. The Sharps Creek Rd. closure has been modified to allow access to the transfer site.

However, site operations are subject to modification as fire operations progress. Check for updates here, or call us at 541-682-4120 Monday - Saturday during business hours for current conditions.
