Children's Foster Care

We certify non-relative foster homes for children with developmental disabilities in Lane County that provide care and services in a safe, secure, home-like environment. Care includes 24 hour supervision, the provision of room and board, assistance with the activities of everyday living (from grooming and eating to participation in leisure activities) and access to services which help residents develop appropriate skills to maintain or increase their level of functioning.

Child Foster Info Night
Attend a virtual information session to learn more about the vital role foster families play for vulnerable children in our community and the process to become certified to serve children experiencing developmental disabilities.  We will also discuss the benefits, training, and resources provided to certified foster families.
