Our friendly WIC staff looks forward to visiting with you, answering any questions you may have about our program, and assisting your family in reaching its nutritional goals.

Alicia has worked for WIC since 2004.  Before coming to WIC she worked with the Healthy Families program for eight years.  Alicia enjoys helping breastfeeding moms and babies.  She loves connecting with clients and working with new babies all the time!

In her free time, Alicia likes to go for walks and also enjoys cooking.

Cameron joined the WIC team in November 2022.  She has a degree in human physiology and is pursuing her master's in business administration in healthcare.   Cameron is passionate about public health and enjoys helping people support their families.

Outside of work she enjoys playing video games, cooking and spending time with her family and puppy Diddy.




Dana Baxter

Dana Baxter has a degree in Nutritional Science/Dietetics and has been working in the field of Nutrition Education for the past 22 years. She loves that she gets to share and apply her passions for health, food and education every day.

When not at work, Dana likes to run, bike, go on hikes with her spunky dog, explore local thrift stores and read biographies of fascinating people.

Pam really enjoys meeting families at WIC!  She moved to Eugene in 1999 and joined WIC in 2011. 

Pam grew up in California, Texas, Peru, and Kentucky, and traveled across the U.S. every summer until she moved to the west coast.  Pam lives with 2 other humans, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 birds, 4 gerbils, and several goldfish.

Kara is a native Oregonian who first came to Eugene to attend the University of Oregon.   After graduation she moved to rural Alaska where she worked in many roles to support primary care at the local community health center.  She recently returned to Eugene and joined the WIC team in November 2022.  She is excited to be working with WIC families to support them in their efforts to optimize their health. 

In her spare time Kara is adventuring on hiking trails with her Springer Spaniel and enjoying the local arts and cuisine with her husband.

Leticia has worked at WIC since 2000, and still enjoys it a lot. 

When not at work, Leticia enjoys being in the outdoors with her husband and three kids.  They like camping, hiking and the beach.

Tammy has worked for the Lane County WIC Program since 1996.  In 2002 she became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and has found that providing breastfeeding support for WIC families is one of the most rewarding parts of her job.  Tammy also enjoys all the laughter kids bring to the office.

When not at work, Tammy and her husband are usually gardening or hanging out with family.

Alisha joined the WIC team in March of 2019. She has lived in Eugene for 6 years and previously worked as a physician assistant (PA) in community health before taking time off to be at home with her two children. She enjoys working with people to improve individual and community health through education.

 

When she is not at work, Alisha loves being with her children and working as a volunteer land steward for the McKenzie River Trust, removing invasive plants and surveying for native plant and animal species. In her free time you can usually find her playing outdoors in the forest-- hiking, camping, backpacking and freshwater snorkeling.

Rio (she/her), was born and raised between Eugene, Oregon, and Japan, which has given her a deep appreciation for both cultures. In her spare time, she loves to read, cook, and travel, as well as spend meaningful time with her family and friends.

Rio has been with WIC since 2020, and has found it incredibly rewarding to work with parents and caregivers, helping to promote healthy habits and empowering families to make informed choices for their well-being.

Carly is a Registered Dietitian who joined the Lane County WIC team in April 2019. She graduated from Oregon State University and completed her internship with the Golden Gate Dietetic Internship Program. Carly enjoys working with families and providing individualized nutrition education. 

In her free time, Carly likes hiking, cooking, playing volleyball, practicing photography and spending quality time with her friends and family.

Heather is a Registered Dietitian and began working at WIC in 1997 in Marion County.  She has worked in Lane County since 2003.  Heather graduated from Oregon State University and completed an internship at The New York Hospital.  She enjoys providing nutrition education and connecting families with community resources.

In her free time, Heather enjoys picking fresh produce from many local farms near her home, as well as baking and freezing the fruits and vegetables for winter months.  She also enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and four children.

Amanda Silacci

Amanda is a Registered Dietitian who joined the WIC team in July of 2022. She graduated from California Polytechnic State University in 2017 and completed her internship with Napa State Hospital. In 2019, Amanda relocated from California to Eugene in order to be closer to her sister and nephews.  She enjoys providing nutrition education and is glad to be a part of the Lane County community.
In her free time Amanda loves spending time outdoors, cooking, playing in her garden, and learning new things, whether that be a new craft technique or her husband explaining general relativity.

Lisa has lived in the Lane County area all of her life.  She has worked for Lane County Government for 19 years.  All of those years have been in the WIC Program.

Lisa is married and has one daughter.  She spends most of her time enjoying family and friends.  Her favorite activities are reading, hiking and paddle boarding.  Lisa's family loves the outdoors and spends much of their time together camping and rafting.
