Bold Steps Award

The Bold Steps Award recognizes Eugene-based sustainable businesses.



Winning businesses receive marketing assistance including print ads and a professionally produced video, as well as recognition from the Mayor and community members at the annual State of the City event.  

To qualify for consideration for the Bold Steps award, businesses must be certified through the Rethink program which offers businesses free, on-site consultation to reduce waste and save money.

Electronic Waste

NextStep Recycling provides electronic reuse and recycling services; offers free pick-up for businesses who want to donate and/or recycle their unwanted electronics. Donations are tax deductible. For more information visit, NextStep or call (541)686-2366.

Rethink Business Program - Free Consultation!

Lane County in partnership with BRING offers free technical assistance, advice and resources to help businesses reduce waste and save money. Expert advisers conduct an onsite assessment and provide customized reports detailing opportunities to conserve resources.
