BadgeThe Lane County Sheriff's Office Cold Case Team consists of retired law enforcement officers who donate their time and expertise to investigating colds cases that are often decades old, including homicides and missing persons cases.

Julie and Terry Dade Double Homicide - Case #70-0646
On 01/21/1970 at about 4:20 a.m., neighbors in the area of the Maple Street Apartments in Junction City heard a female yelling. A witness reportedly saw a man dragging a screaming woman into a vehicle before leaving the area.   READ MORE...
Angela Wilson
Angela Wilson Homicide - Case # 05-9003
On October 2, 2005, 44 year old Angela Wilson was found dead in the Willamette River near the Jasper Bridge (pictured) in Jasper, Oregon. Angela was homeless and frequented homeless camps in Glenwood and Eugene. She suffered from mental illness and substance abuse. An autopsy determined that Angela had been physically assaulted prior to her death.   READ MORE...
Shirley Wallace Homicide Case # 75-9112
In the late evening of 07/20/1975, an adult male suspect entered the Gentlemen’s Retreat massage parlor pictured below, located on River Road in Eugene. The suspect took Shirley Wallace and another female employee hostage at gunpoint. Both women had their hands bound and were separated from each other. Shirley, pictured to the right, was brutally murdered.  READ MORE...
Jeremy Hayward Missing Person Case # 98-7280
Jeremy was last seen in the area of 13th and Hilyard at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eugene on April 16, 1998. At the time of his disappearance he was 22 years old. Jeremy suffers from a medical condition requiring medication. At the time of his last contact, Jeremy claimed to be working as a cook at Burger King in Roseburg. No one has reportedly seen Jeremy since that day in 1998.  READ MORE...
Michael Lee
Michael Lee Missing Person - Case # 10-1524
In October of 2009, 17 year old Michael Lee had come home to Oregon after travelling the west coast. Michael was close with his mother and kept in regular contact with her by phone, and was always home for the holidays. Michael was supposed to contact his mother to get details about an upcoming memorial service for his grandmother but she never heard from him, which is unusual because Michael seemed excited to be able to reconnect with family at the service.   READ MORE...
