"Being a Lane County Parks Advisory Committee member is a perfect way to explore my mutual passions for conservation and responsible, sustainable recreation. The PAC is very engaged, with a wide range of experience. One of our current goals is to improve diversity on the Committee, and we encourage you to join us."
- Tim Foelker
PAC Member District 1
The Park Advisory Committee (PAC) is a seven-member volunteer committee: five representing one County District each, and two at-large members all appointed by the Board of County
Commissioners (BCC).
The committee advises the Board of County Commissioners on park needs of County residents and visitors regarding County park facilities. The committee recommends priorities for projects, including financial and operational development and acquisition. The committee also provides recommendations regarding long-range planning for future park programs and future park needs and serves as a liaison group representing the concern of the community with regard to parks.
