DDs Advisory Committee

About Us

The Developmental Disabilities Services (DDS) Advisory Committee serves as the Disabilities Issues subcommittee of the Mental Health Advisory/Local Alcohol and Drug Planning/Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Committee (MHA/LADP/IDDC) for Lane County.

The Committee meets quarterly with the following priorities:

To coordinate and encourage community outreach with people in services, providers, and community partners to inform services for Lane County Development Disabilities Services.

To help identify service needs and provide feedback on priorities for strategic direction and planning for Developmental Disabilities Services.

To bring community and service concerns to Lane County DDS Leadership; and to the Lane County MHA/LADP/IDDC.

To review and make recommendations as to policies and procedures impacting people and families served by Lane County DDS.

Membership

The committee is open to community members who represent the diversity of our communities. Membership can include representatives from provider partners, liaison members who serve on the MHA/LADP/IDD Committee, and advocates for intellectual and developmental disabilities services.
