STEP is an Employment and Training program for individuals receiving SNAP benefits. Work one-on-one with an Employment & Housing Specialist to develop a plan tailored to your interests, skills, and abilities that can lead to a career path where you will thrive.

- Short-Term Vocational Training Programs
- Job Search Supports – gas, bus pass, interview clothes, uniforms, phone / internet assistance, etc.
- Adults 18+ and Youth ages 16 - 24
To be eligible for the Lane County STEP program, individuals will:
- Be receiving SNAP and not TANF;
- Need assistance with their job search or training program; AND
- Be literally homeless or at imminent risk of losing housing.
