Lane County Land Management Division has opened a satellite office in Florence so that coastal residents have better access to planning and building staff.

The satellite office will be open every second Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. by appointment only.

The office is located in Florence City Hall (250 Highway 101).

The Planner on Duty and the Builder on Duty will staff the office jointly. When you schedule an appointment, you can talk to both staff during your visit.  

Planning staff can help answer questions about zoning, environmental features, coastal overlays, and the types of permits required before building begins.

Building staff can help answer questions about building codes and sanitation requirements.
