Park Description
At 115 acres, Richardson Park is the largest developed park in the County Parks system. It is accessible by major roads in all directions and is the closest RV campground to the cities of Eugene and Veneta. With 88 sites, a large day use area, and three picnic shelters, it is one of the most visited County parks. An 8,000 square-foot picnic shelter was completed in 2004. The three-roofed structure houses a full-service, outdoor kitchen and seats 300 people. Richardson has a 212-slip marina, a swimming area, play structures, game areas, and an outdoor amphitheater.
We’re working with the Army Corps of Engineers to upgrade the wastewater system for a better park experience. We are confident that these improvements will support camping and recreation for years to come. While these improvements are underway, some services will be temporarily unavailable:
- Marina Flush Restrooms & Showers
- Day Use Flush Restroom
- Marina and RV Dump Station
In the meantime, we have portable restrooms and handwashing stations
available. The nearest RV dump station is at Chevron on Irving and Clear Lake
Road. Thanks for your patience as we make these enhancements.
Park Information
During off season, the park remains closed to vehicular traffic, no restroom, shower or dump station services are available during this time.
Campground
- Loop A: open April 11 - Oct. 13, 2025
- Loop B: open May 12 - Sept. 15, 2025
During the open season, showers and the RV dump station services are available to current campground patrons only.

Marina
We offer a number of options when it comes to mooring your watercrafts in Lane County. Whether you need moorage on a daily basis or for the season, it is highly recommended you make a reservation.
- Open seasonally, April 1 - Oct. 6, 2025, depending on water levels
- Moorage annual renewal period: February 20 - March 17.
- New moorage opens April 1.
- Dump station closed temporarily - closest one is at Orchard Point.
Marina operating dates are subject change and dependent on sufficient water levels in the lake which are dependent on seasonal rain and managed by the Army Corps of Engineers.
